Caterpillar

We found a beautiful caterpillar on the driveway today and decided to save it from ants.  I tried putting him on a tree but he wasn't having it so we put him in the flowerbed.  Gideon liked him but was pretty disappointed that he wouldn't immediately eat the leaves we gathered for him.  He was also pretty concerned that he might eat our stick.  I think Eric Carl has given my son some erroneous ideas about the appetites of caterpillars.
